🎉 Happy 2-Year Work Anniversary, Ben Groves! 🎉
Ben has been a valued member of the OCWD team for the past two years, serving as a Distribution Operator. With six years of experience in water distribution, Ben brings valuable knowledge and dedication to our team.
Ben shared, “My favorite part of the job is working with drinking water infrastructure, you never know what the day and night will bring. It’s truly a 24/7, 365-day job. Clean, safe drinking water is what our customers expect and deserve. I’m happy to be part of a team that prides itself on making sure that happens, from the treatment plant all the way to the tap, every single day.”
Outside of work, Ben enjoys spending time with his wife of 10 years, Lindsey, their 7 year old son, Lawton, and their brand-new baby girl, Lakyn. He also enjoys spending as much time outdoors as he can.

🎉 Happy 22-Year Work Anniversary, Jason Chinn! 🎉
Jason has been a valued member of the OCWD team for the past 22 years, serving as a Water Plant Operator. More than two decades of service is an incredible milestone and reflects Jason’s dedication and commitment to OCWD and the community we serve.
As a Water Plant Operator, Jason plays an important role in the daily operation of our water treatment process and in helping ensure our customers receive clean, safe, and reliable drinking water. His many years of experience and knowledge of the treatment process make him a valuable part of the OCWD team.
Outside of work, Jason enjoys reading and writing fiction, giving him a creative outlet when he’s away from the plant. He also enjoys playing the drums in his spare time.
We appreciate Jason’s 22 years of hard work, knowledge, and dedication to Ohio County Water District and our customers. Thank you, Jason, for the many years you have devoted to helping us serve our community.

🚨 Leak Investigation – Hoover Hill Service Area 🚨

Our crews have been actively searching for a water leak in the Hoover Hill Tank service area for several days. This includes customers in the:

• Hwy 136 corridor
• Hwy 231 north of Hartford
• Beda area

To help maintain reliable service while we continue our search, we are balancing water levels between our Hoover Hill and Bells Run tanks to supply the affected area.

If you notice running water, an unusually wet area, or experience lower-than-normal water pressure, please contact our office at (270) 298-7704. Even small observations from customers can help our crews pinpoint the location of a hidden leak.

We appreciate your patience and assistance as we work to locate and repair this leak as quickly as possible.

🎉Happy 5-Year Work Anniversary, Brandon Woods!🎉
Today we’re celebrating Brandon Woods and his 5 years of service with the Ohio County Water District!
When asked about his time at OCWD, Brandon shared, "Five years in, and I still believe the most important thing we do is make sure the water is safe for everyone. At Ohio County Water District, I've learned what it takes to ensure our community never has to think twice about what comes out of the tap."
In his spare time, Brandon enjoys watching his children grow through sports and life's many milestones. He also enjoys spending time with friends and family.
