Primary Day in CT! As always, it was exhilarating and awe-inspiring to vote. Not only do Americans choose our leaders, we choose who appears on the ballot. Is the American democracy perfect? No. We can always improve. But, we live in the most free and democratic country the world has ever known. Best country ever. Thank you, America.

I was pleased to appear on Greek TV for the 4th Hellenic American State Legislators Forum. This bipartisan panel was a great way to exchange ideas with fellow Greek American legislators about how other states are solving problems. As always, I was proud to represent our great state. 🇺🇸 🇬🇷

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) was signed into law on July 26, 1990 by President George H.W. Bush. It is one of the seminal civil rights bills of our time. One of today's speakers said the law exists to address one fundamental question: "Can Everyone Participate?" It was great at be at Town Hall today to mark the anniversary of this legislation which continues to make us a more inclusive society.

Yesterday, we were blown away by our visit to the Back to School Shop in Stamford! This volunteer-powered non-profit invites school children in need in Stamford to shop every year for brand new back-to-school clothes, backpacks, shoes, school supplies - free of charge. Over 450 children participated.

Thank you, Back to School Shop! You represent the best of our community and make a tangible difference to so many.

HB 8002, the omnibus housing bill, will require very town to add housing density. And yet - CT Natural Gas and Aquarion reported to the First Selectman that they don't have capacity to fully supply Greenwich, now. If this makes no sense to you, I am with you! My colleagues and I convened at Town Hall yesterday to oppose these continuing state mandates from Hartford.
