Behind every movement is also the work of building support, partnerships, and resources to keep the mission moving forward. Grateful to the J. Walton Bissell Foundation and to my good friend Bob Fishman for helping make this possible for CIRC.

Great catching up with Emanuela Palmares at Danbury Day at the Capitol. Emanuela serves as Vice President of the New American Foundation, and we’re hopeful she’ll soon join the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Immigrant & Refugee Coalition (CIRC).

The 35th Annual Polish Day Celebration at the State Capitol will take place on Thursday, April 30th, starting at 10 a.m. on the North Steps of the State Capitol. I am proud to co-host this event alongside Lieutenant Governor Susan Bysiewicz for the second year in a row. I hope you can join us for a celebration of Polish Constitution Day, including a recognition of honorees who have made a significant impact on Connecticut’s Polish community. I hope to see you there!

"Honored to share the keynote address delivered by Connecticut Attorney General William Tong at Immigrant Day at the Capitol.

His remarks reflected a deep understanding of the immigrant experience and a strong commitment to justice, dignity, and opportunity for all—particularly in his emphasis on birthright citizenship." - Werner Oyanadel
