NCAAA’s Respite Care Manager, Damaris DeLeon, was honored to serve as a panelist speaker at the 23rd Annual Latinas in Leadership Symposium in Hartford.

Damaris joined Dr. Marisa Moro-de-Casillas, Movement Disorders Neurologist with Hartford HealthCare, and Nora Duncan, State Director of AARP Connecticut, for the breakout session, “Who Cares for the Caregiver? The Latina Caregiving Experience.”

The discussion highlighted caregiver support, respite care resources, advocacy, and the importance of ensuring caregivers receive the support they need while caring for loved ones.
