This weekend some members of The Hartford Fire Department traveled to Peoria for some Great Training.
They attended the Illinois Firefighter's Association Foundation Down and Dirty Training Conference.
This was a great event organized by some great people.
Our members had the opportunity to hone their skills with live fire training, search and rescue, flashover scenarios, scene safety, and electric vehicle fire safety, followed by some great networking with other departments and people from The Illinois Fire Marshals Office.
All of this so they could bring back what they learned and share with others.
These trainings help the Department better serve the Community.

We still accept cash, so don't worry.

We pause today to remember the lives lost, honor those who bravely answered the call, and stand with the families who continue to carry their memory.

Twenty-five years later we still remember, and will never forget.
