PART-TIME JOB APPLICATION REOPENING:
The Hartford Senior Citizens are looking to contract services with a local person to assist with the Senior daily meal program from about 9:30am – 1pm, M-F, during the lunch period. Food is provided by the Wooden Nickel in Crooks - this person will be responsible for the daily meal service in Hartford. This includes assembling delivery meals, clean-up, working with the volunteers, and minimal data entry. Must have a cell phone and some computer skills – including spreadsheets. Call Lois at 605 528 3999 at the Senior Center before 1pm, email Deanna at [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]), or stop in at the Sr Center between 7am and 1pm for more information.

Our two ladies that oversee the Senior Program are retiring. We are looking to replace that position. Our regular noon volunteers are still needed.

Need a part-time job? This is a part-time contracted service with the Hartford Senior Citizens. We are searching for a local person to provide professional services to assist with the Center’s daily meal program during the lunch period. This person will be solely responsible for the “Daily Meal Service” which includes set-up, serving, clean-up and overseeing the volunteers. Must have a cell phone and some computer skills for a small amount of data entry. Mark your calendars for Hartford Senior Citizens annual walking tacos on Saturday June 20, after the Jamboree Days Parade. We will be selling them in front of the Sr. Center on Main Street until 1 pm. For a minimum $6 donation, you can have a walking taco, a small water, AND this year we have entertainment. Larry Elford will be playing guitar and singing. Come on down and enjoy. Donation is for “Cash Match” to keep the cost of the Senior meals down as much as possible. Last year we sold out with 100 tacos. We are ready to do another 100 this year.
