Updates on Eddie (front) and Oorah (saved from slaughter on 12.6.16). They have had a physical and both are healthy, had their feet trimmed. We are all being very patient with each other and they are learning they can trust us. They LOVE their grain and their clean stalls and Oorah found that he likes candy canes, Eddie is still a bit head shy and afraid to try but likes apples and carrots.

As a MoM (Mom of a Marine) I learned that 22 Veterans commit su***de every day. Imagine all of the people just one su***de impacts, now do the math. I will just let that sink in for a moment.... It continues to take my breath away.

Our family believes that God put it on our hearts to do something to help those that have given us so much that many of us take for granted. I know I can't carry a backpack in 100 degrees but God has blessed us with excellent skills and a network of incredible people in our path that CAN make a difference.

We have imagined a huge vision: Veterans Resource Ranch for Hope and Healing. Not only a place where Vets and their families can go for help, but where the fit is right, a place to work to help others. We know it is a HUGE vision but we believe with GOD - ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. We are currently refining the Business Plan and working our way through the official requirements of forming as a 501c3 Non Profit.

Once you LIKE us we will consider you part of our Holding on 2 Hope Partners community.
