Training today with the Trousdale County High School Athletic Trainer Brice Elkins, we covered multiple aspects of sports injuries and equipment removal. Communication and training is essential to caring for our student athletes. Brice is a wealth of knowledge and we were excited to have him share his insights with us today.

We have a special announcement to make: Recently AEMT Connor Brown achieved his goal of becoming our newest Paramedic. It requires a tremendous amount of dedication and commitment, starting with a semester for the EMT Basic license, a semester for the Advanced EMT license and 3 more semesters, including hundreds of clinical hours an internship and testing. He had to show his hands on knowledge followed by the dreaded National Registry Paramedic Exam. All successfully completed by now Paramedic Connor Brown. Please take a moment and congratulate Connor on his job well done!

Friday’s football game: The main parking lot at the new facility is NOT for public parking. ONLY GOLD CLUB AND HANDICAP PARKING. You must have your gold club placard or handicap tag/placard to park there.
The lot behind the UT Extension office is for players, coaches, concession and stadium workers and visiting team bus and trailer.

Home side bleachers: NO STANDING IN THE STAIRS NOR PLATFORM.

TICKETS: $8 each. Tickets can also be purchased on GoFan.com.

Kickoff is 7:30, not the normal 7:00

Hello again, weather peeps. It's been a hot August night, if you know what I mean. What I wouldn't give for a crisp September morn, or if we could just go back to that cool stretch of days we enjoyed at the beginning of June. (Good times never seemed so good.) It's already sweltering out there. I mean, it hits you as soon as you walk out the door. Needless to say, I'm a believer. The next two afternoons are going to be oppressive, and Monday won't bring us much relief, either. But maybe by Tuesday we'll start to notice a little bit of a change.

Just to be clear, there are no Trousdale County residents under the water advisory TDEC (Tennessee Department of Environmental Conservation) established for the approximately 20 residents on Green Grove Road in Macon County. These are the only residents currently affected by the advisory.
