What a way to kick off All Pro Dads for the year!

We had our largest crowd yet on Friday morning, and we loved seeing so many dads, granddads, families, and Dragons filling the room!

Thank you to everyone who came out, spent time with our students, and helped make the morning so special. We are so grateful for families who show up and make CES such a special place to be.

We can’t wait for the next one on September 25!!

Our kindergarten artists are learning all about LINES!

After practicing different types of lines, our youngest Dragons took their learning to the next level by creating 3-D line sculptures using pool noodles, pipe cleaners, and beads!

Kindergarten writers in action!

Our 5K students in Mrs. Hyett and Mrs. O’Kelley’s class worked together during interactive writing to create their class poem, “Mud.” Through shared thinking, talking, and writing, our youngest Dragons are learning that they are authors and their ideas are worth sharing!

Learning takes shape in second grade!

Our second graders put the modeling clay from their science kits to work as they learned about different landforms! They created mountains, hills, valleys, and plains, and some even took on the challenge of creating an island!

Hands-on learning is always a hit with our Dragons!

A huge thank you to the area youth groups and Lakeview Baptist Church for stepping up to serve our community!

The DNOW students worked hard to restore and beautify the gazebo at CES. This refurbished space is going to bring so much joy to our Lunch Bunch goers!

And on Friday, we celebrate!

In case you haven't heard, our Dragons have given us a BIG reason to celebrate! Carolina Elementary led the district in both mathematics and science performance, with 71% of students meeting or exceeding expectations in math and 77% in science! Our science performance even surpassed the district's long-term goal of 75%! 🌟

These results don't happen by accident. Our students are working hard, our teachers are pouring into them every single day, and our families continue to support us along the way.

We are incredibly proud of our Dragons and all they accomplished—and we're already hard at work making this year even better.

But today, WE CELEBRATE with a little snack! Keep finding greatness Dragons!
