Here are the unofficial results from the May 5, 2026, local primary. The Election Commission will meet on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 6pm to certify the results.
Since no candidates participated, there are no nominees from this election to advance to the August General ballot. The current local candidates who have qualified to be on the August ballot can be found on the Trousdale County Election Commission website.

The May local Primary Election is over. There were 78 voters who participated. There were no candidates who qualified to participate.
The next election in Trousdale County is August 6, 2026. Voters can participate in the state Primary Election to choose nominees to represent their party in the November election. There are many offices that will appear on the primary ballot including Governor. Voters will also have the opportunity to participate in the local General Election to chose the candidates who will assume office in September. These offices incluse County Mayor, all 20 County Commission seats, three School Board seats and Sheriff.
