🍎 Welcome back to school, kiddos!✏️📚

As our local kids head back to the classroom and families settle into a new routine, maybe you’ve found yourself with a few extra hours in your week. ❤️

If so, we’d love to have you spend a little of that time with Newborns in Need - Southwest Missouri Chapter!

Join us Tuesdayand see firsthand how donated items are sorted, packed, and turned into care packages for babies and families right here in our community.

No special skills needed — just willing hands and a heart to help. 🍼🤍

Whether you can stay for a little while or spend the day with us, every helping hand makes a difference.

Each one is filled with everyday baby essentials — diapers, wipes, bottles, clothing, sleepers, blankets, hygiene items and more.

Little by little, it all comes together to create something pretty special for a local baby and family.

And we are so thankful for a community that continues to show up for our littlest neighbors.

This September, we're looking for churches, schools, classrooms, clubs, teams and organizations willing to collect sleepers for local babies.

It doesn't have to be huge.
📦 One box.
👶 Whatever your group can collect.
❤️ Babies right here in our communities benefit.

❤️ Sleepers in September is BACK!❤
We’ve been busy behind the scenes getting everything ready, and we’re excited to officially kick off our 2026 drive!

Throughout September & October, we’ll be collecting new, gently-used & handmade sleepers to help babies right here in our Southwest Missouri communities.

There are LOTS of ways to get involved — donate, give, host a drive, or simply help us spread the word.

So… what exactly does Newborns in Need do? ❤️

Our mission is pretty simple: help make sure babies in our community have the essentials they need.

Through donations, handmade items and the work of our volunteers, we are able to provide baby essentials free of charge to help families who may be facing financial or medical challenges.

Diapers. Clothing. Blankets. Bottles. Hygiene items. Linens. Small toys. Handmade items. And so much more. ❤️

These items aren't just collected to sit on a shelf. They're sorted, prepared and distributed to help babies and families right here in our community.
And none of it happens without people like YOU.

Some people donate baby items.
Some sew, crochet or create.
Some volunteer their time.
Some give financially.
Some simply share our posts so they reach the right person.

Every single one of those things matters.

We’ve been a little quiet over here… but the work hasn’t been. ❤️

Our social media may have been quiet lately, but behind the scenes, Newborns in Need - Southwest Missouri Chapter is still here, still serving, and still working to help babies and families throughout our community.

And we think it’s time we start showing you more of that again!

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing more about what our chapter does, where your donations go, ways you can get involved, and what’s happening right here in Southwest Missouri.

And we have something BIG coming…

Every baby deserves a safe, warm start to life.

During National Make a Difference to Children Month, we're reminded that changing a child's future doesn't always require a grand gesture. Sometimes it's a handmade blanket, a package of diapers, a sleeper, or a community that simply cares.
