Lake Township FISH FISH provides groceries and temporary emergency assistance for people in need in the Lake Township area. www.laketownshipfish.org. https://linktr.ee/LakeTwpFISH

Lake Township FISH is an assistance organization sponsored and governed by the Lake area clergy. FISH is supported by Lake Local schools, churches, businesses and individuals. It is committed to doing God's work through helping those in need in the Lake Township area. Emergency help includes the following: groceries, clothing, utility payments and housing payments, Christmas holiday help programs

and other miscellaneous help as needed. The Lake Township FISH Food Pantry receives donations from local churches, schools, individuals, groups, and businesses. We are also affiliated with the Akron Canton Food Bank where we purchase food and non-food items at reduced costs. Our location is at 934 W. Maple St. in Hartville at the south entrance to GentleBrook Centre. Food assistance clients may visit Tuesdays between 10 and 11 a.m. and Thursday between 6 and 7 p.m. Our Food Pantry covers an extended area surrounding Lake Township. Our borders include:

-South of 224
-North of Applegrove
-East of 77
-West of Marlboro Ave

Community Cash Back is in full swing! We have containers all over the building to drop off your ACME receipts.

Bring in receipts dated 8/1/26 and later. Make sure there is a total in the Community Cash Back area of the receipt.

This years program ends February 15th! So bring them in as often as you can. Some churches collect them for us too, so check with your church to see if they are collecting receipts for Lake Township FISH

Interested in helping at the Agape Bread Warehouse? We are in need of volunteers to help with our open times for both the public and group pickup times. The job involves greeting and directing clients or group pickup teams to sign in on the appropriate paper. During open for public times, we ask that the volunteers remove and stack the empty trays from the staging area where clients are shopping.

Our hearts are heavy this week as we mourn the loss of a faithful supporter and dedicated volunteer: Jan Moore Dwenger.

She was a wonderful woman with a true servant’s heart. To know Jan was to know joy. With a little skip in her step, she sparked light into every room she entered, and was always full of endless smiles and encouragement for us all.

She loved her people and her community deeply and it was an honor to serve alongside her. While we are deeply saddened by our loss here on earth, we rejoice for we know that she is dancing in glory with Christ.

As she loved telling stories of her life and teaching, we would love to hear any stories you have of Jan. Please feel free to leave them in the comments and we will be sure to share them with her family.

The Benefit Dinner is 4 weeks from today! If you pledged an auction item thank you so much! You can bring your donation in during our office hours.

We are still looking for a few more. If you have a talent or gift basket idea or an experience that you think people would enjoy, donate it to be auctioned off.

Here are some ideas:
Date Night Out (restaurant gift cards and wine), Movie Night In (gourmet popcorn and streaming passes), Spa & Wellness (luxury bath items and candles), Family Game Night (board games and treats), or Local Artisan (regional foods and crafts)

The first ever Hartville Derby is less than a month away. We are partnering with to support our community while also having fun playing each other. Admission is free, we're just asking supporters bring any non perishable food donation that we can give to .fish. It's going to be a great night in Lake!
