Public Hearing Notice:

The Town of Hartwick Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing in the Town Assembly Room located at 103 Town Drive, Hartwick, NY 13348 on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at 7:00 p.m.

The purpose of the Public Hearing is to hear public comment on a proposed campground, Goey Straits Campground, to be developed on the west side of State Highway 28, at the intersection of 28 and Goey Pond Road. The new campground would include 76 RV campers."

Two weeks until Hartwick Heritage Fest! Join us on Saturday August 29th. We will post a snippet on all of the festivities (hopefully on a daily basis!) right here. We plan a fun filled, family friendly, walkable event throughout the hamlet. Stay tuned!

Last night was a HIT!

Bounce houses, canine friends showing off their skills, fossils, hot dogs, Italian ices, the SQSPCA, and our Dairy Princess- a little bit of everything!

The pickleball court is a great addition; people of all ages were playing on both pickleball and basketball courts.

A huge thank you to Marcy and JoAnn for all the behind-the-scenes preparation and hard work that helped make tonight happen. So much goes into creating these evenings, and I am incredibly grateful for both of you!

And thank you to everyone who came out tonight and helped make Husky Park feel exactly the way it should — full of life, laughter, and community.

“Come share our good nature.”

Tonight truly showed what those words mean.

Next Thursday is our FINAL Thursday in Husky Park for the summer. We hope to see you there! Let’s make our last one the best one yet!

Thank you, Hartwick, for showing up and showing what a wonderful community we have.
