Storms will be isolated heading into our Tuesday, as the heat and humidity builds across the stateline. Any storms that are able to fire up, will have the potential to become strong/severe. ~Very Warm First Half of September~

If you want below average temperatures, you better go west. In the region, expect temperatures, on average through the 10th-14th, as much as 5-10 degrees above average in the orange-shaded areas. Temperatures will be well into the 80s and 90s at times this upcoming week.

As we move toward the middle of the month, troughing should push into the Great Lakes region, flipping the pattern bringing in strong cold fronts. I don't expect that to happen until the 12-15th, putting the first half of September well above average for temperatures for some areas.
