Harvard Jr High will host the next Family Night. There will be dinner served and child care provided while parents hear a presentation on "Anger Management". Times for this will be 5:30-7:30. Stay tuned for official event to rsvp.

Good afternoon Harvard families. At our meeting today we discussed HCPC goals for 2016 and agreed on meeting dates and times going forward.
First, we decided to continue with the regular monthly meetings on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 9:00am at Diggins Library. The point was brought up that it maybe difficult for some parents to make the 9:00AM meeting so we are considering switching some of the meetings to evening hours in hopes of improving attendance. This will be discussed at the next meeting in January, which is going to be January 26th, 2016 at 9:00am.

Our next family night event is on January 12th, 2016 at 5:30pm @ Harvard Junior High School in the cafeteria. Topic for the evening will be "Parenting to Promote drug & alcohol prevention." Dinner will be provided! All parents of school age children in the community are encouraged to come, no matter what school your child goes to.

HCPC would like to wish everyone a very happy & safe holiday season!

Today our McHenry County Community is mourning the loss of Sheriff's Deputy Dwight Maness.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends and co-workers.
Thank you Deputy Maness for your service, rest in peace.

NNO was held Tuesday night at the Harvard City Pool. HCPC is proud to be a sponsor of this event and it was great to meet so many new people. There were over 200 people in attendance and fun was had by all!
Thank You Harvard Police Department for organizing such a wonderful community event and a special thanks to Harvard businesses for donating the water & snacks!

We want to thank everyone for coming to last nights drug & alcohol awareness program at Harvard Jr. High school. A special thanks to Principle Segersten and District 50 for hosting the event and providing dinner.
Below, Assistant Principle Mr. Edwards is filing up his plate before the presentation. Laura Crain of the McHenry County Substance Abuse Coalition brought in a mock up of a teens bedroom called "Hidden in Plain Site" to show parents what to watch for.

Check back for information on the next community wide program sponsored by HCPC at the Stratford Banquet Facility May 5th 2015.
