On September 11, 2026, we will come together to mark the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, honoring the lives lost, the sacrifices made, and the courage and service shown on that day and in the years since.

Harvard Police Department and Harvard Fire-EMS invite the community to join us for a 9/11 25th Anniversary Remembrance Ceremony.

Friday, September 11, 2026
Ceremony begins promptly at 8:55 A.M.
Harvard Public Safety Building
40 Ayer Road, Harvard

As part of this year’s ceremony, we will also re-dedicate the Harvard Public Safety Memorial, adding the names of members of our public safety family who have passed away during the last five years and who dedicated themselves to serving the Town of Harvard.

We invite residents, families, town employees, public safety members, and members of the community to join us as we pause to remember those we lost, honor those who served, and recognize those who continued a legacy of service here at home.

We Will Never Forget.
Honor. Remember. Unite.

Hosting the 99th Annual Wachusett Fire Muster was already something special… but keeping the trophy right here in Harvard made it even better!

We couldn’t be prouder of our team and everyone who worked incredibly hard to make today happen. Thank you to all the departments who came out to compete, everyone who volunteered, and the community that showed up to support this incredible tradition.

The trophy is staying HOME! 🏆🚒

Now we start getting ready for #100!

Last night, Harvard Fire-EMS assisted the Town Beach Staff with their annual beach drill. This drill allows lifeguards and beach staff to practice their emergency response procedures as well as interface with the Fire and EMS crews who would respond to any emergencies at the beach. New this year, the lifeguards were able to activate their Emergency Response System by utilizing new radios to call Nashoba Valley Regional Emergency Communications Center directly on the Harvard Fire Frequency. These radios were provided by the Harvard Fire-EMS association, sponsored by an anonymous donor. Great work by both the lifeguards and the EMS crews!
