HYC Back-to-School Bash!🎉

On Thursday we had an amazing time at the Harvest Youth Club Back-to-School Bash! It was a full day packed with fun, laughter, and community as we kicked off the new school year in style.

Club members enjoyed relay games, a high-energy dance line party, and plenty of excitement at the dunking booth! There was something for everyone with sweet cotton candy, a fun cake walk, creative face painting, and so much more. We also had a visit from some of our teachers from Harvest Elementary!

We are so grateful to our friends from MTSI, Lighthouse Investments, Pine Grove Brotherhood, Gary & Betty Jones, Jackie Wilson and Beltha Hinton who came out and helped make this event such a success. It was truly a great day of fun, fellowship, and celebration as we head into a new school year together.

🎉♟️ Congratulations to Our HYC Summer Chess Club Graduates! ♟️🎉

Today we proudly celebrated the graduation of our Harvest Youth Club Summer Chess Club members! Throughout the summer, our students learned strategy, critical thinking, patience, and sportsmanship while mastering the game of chess.

A heartfelt thank you to Coach Hodge for generously giving his time, talents, and passion to invest in our youth. Your dedication has made a lasting impact, and we are so grateful for the knowledge and encouragement you shared with each student.

Each graduate received a certificate in recognition of their hard work and accomplishments. We are incredibly proud of all they have achieved and can’t wait to see them continue to grow both on and off the chessboard.

Congratulations, graduates! Keep thinking ahead, making smart moves, and aiming for success! ♟️🏆💙

✈️ Top Flight Summer Aviation Program Celebration! 🛩️

Monday our Panthers wrapped up an incredible summer with the Top Flight Aviation Program! Throughout the summer, they met one day each week with dedicated pilots, engineers, and aviation professionals who shared their knowledge and passion for flight.

Our campers learned about the dynamics of flying, explored aviation concepts, watched and flew drone aircraft, and gained hands-on experience that inspired curiosity and confidence.

To celebrate the completion of the program, everyone enjoyed a picnic with delicious hot dogs and hamburgers, and each participant received a certificate recognizing their hard work and commitment.

A heartfelt thank you to NARCA and all of the pilots, engineers, volunteers, and the Top Flight team for investing your time, talents, and encouragement into our youth. Your dedication has opened young minds to exciting possibilities in aviation and STEM. Congratulations to all of our Panthers on a job well done! 🐆✈️🎉

The Leopards had an action-packed day at Urban Air Adventure Park! 🎉 From soaring on the trampolines to conquering obstacle courses, climbing, and laughing with friends, our campers made memories they’ll never forget.

It was wonderful to see everyone encouraging one another, trying new challenges, and having so much fun while staying active. Days like these remind us that learning, teamwork, and confidence can grow just as much outside the classroom as they do inside.

Way to go, Leopards! 🐆💙

Today in our HYC Art Class, creativity was on full display as our youth designed and created their own unique Junk Hats! 🎩♻️ From everyday recycled materials to imaginative decorations, each hat was a one-of-a-kind masterpiece that showcased the creativity and personality of our campers.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing volunteers, Betty & Gary Jones, for leading this fun and engaging art project. Your time, patience, and dedication continue to inspire our youth to think outside the box and discover that art can be made from almost anything!

At Harvest Youth Club, we’re proud to provide hands-on experiences that encourage creativity, teamwork, and confidence. Great job to all of our young artists—we can’t wait to see what you’ll create next! 🎨💙
