🧠💜 June is Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month 💜🧠
More than 7 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's disease, and millions more family members and friends provide care and support every day.
While memory changes can be a normal part of aging, persistent confusion, difficulty completing familiar tasks, changes in mood or personality, and trouble with language may be signs that should be discussed with a healthcare provider.
Early detection can make a difference. It can help individuals and families better understand their options, plan for the future, and access resources and support.
This month, we encourage everyone to learn the warning signs, support those affected by dementia, and take steps to care for their brain health through physical activity, social connection, healthy eating, and regular medical care.
💜 Every memory matters. Every person matters.
