Tip-A-Cop this evening was a success! 🚓🍽️

Texas Roadhouse servers partnered with deputies to serve guests and collect tips tor Special Olympics Louisiana. Tips earned this evening will fund year-round sports and programs for Special Olympics athletes.

Tip-A-Cop is returning to Harvey! 🚓🍽️

Join us Monday, June 29, 4 PM – 8 PM at Texas Roadhouse (📍1631 Westbank Expy) as JPSO deputies partner with Texas Roadhouse and Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Louisiana for a night of great food and giving back!

Our deputies will be supporting your dinner service and working for tips to support Special Olympics Louisiana (SOLA). 💛

All tips and donations help SOLA provide year-round sports training and competitions for special olympics athletes across Louisiana.

It is with heavy hearts that we extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Chief Marcel Rodriguez of the Town of Jean Lafitte Police Department.

Chief Rodriguez dedicated his life to serving others with honor, integrity, and unwavering commitment. He began his distinguished law enforcement career with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office before being appointed Chief of Police for the Town of Jean Lafitte, where he continued to lead and serve his community with passion and professionalism.

The law enforcement community mourns the loss of an exceptional leader, devoted public servant, and respected colleague. Chief Marcel Rodriguez’s legacy of service will not be forgotten.
