🚨 NOW HIRING: Evidence Technician – Crime Laboratory 🚨
The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office is accepting applications for the position of Evidence Technician assigned to the Crime Laboratory – Evidence Section.
This critical role is responsible for maintaining the integrity, security, and chain of custody of evidence and property, supporting forensic investigations, assisting with crime scene processing, and ensuring compliance with legal and laboratory standards.
✅ High school diploma or G.E.D. required
✅ College coursework in science or law enforcement preferred
✅ Must be at least 21 years old and a U.S. citizen
✅ Valid driver's license required
✅ Must be able to work rotating shifts
As an Evidence Technician, you'll work alongside forensic professionals to receive, document, store, track, and release evidence while helping support the criminal justice process from crime scene to courtroom.
