Proud to wrap up the final day of the defensive driving course for the JPSO Academy at NOLA Motorsports! 🚓
Throughout this intensive training, recruits have spent hours behind the wheel mastering the skills they'll rely on throughout their careers. From defensive driving techniques and collision avoidance to emergency braking, precision maneuvering, backing without cameras, skid control, and high-stress decision-making, every exercise is designed to build confidence, control, and safe driving habits.
One of the best parts of the day was seeing the incredible camaraderie and enthusiasm among the cadets. They cheered each other on through every course and challenge, demonstrating the teamwork and encouragement that are essential to serving together as law enforcement officers.
The JPSO Police Academy is staffed by dedicated instructors committed to providing the highest standards of training and education, preparing recruits to serve our community safely, professionally, and with confidence.
Congratulations to these recruits on completing this important milestone in their academy training!
