This meeting is an opportunity for residents, stakeholders, and community members to learn more about the proposed plans, share ideas, ask questions, and provide feedback that will help guide the future of Acre Road.

The Project-Based Voucher (PBV) Waitlist will open on from December 8, 2025 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Please note that this is not the regular Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List. Applications must be submitted online only, in-person applications will not be accepted at properties or the JPHSDD office.

A computerized lottery will randomly select 300 applicants for placement on the waitlist, and each applicant will be assigned a rank based on their lottery number. Status updates will be available online after the closing date, and an email address is recommended when applying. Submission does not guarantee placement, eligibility, or a voucher. Applicants must meet HSDD's criteria for a 2- or 3-bedroom unit, typically 2 persons per bedroom, with limited exceptions detailed in the Administrative Plan at www.jphsdd.org.

Individuals with disabilities who need assistance can call our office at 504-342-4475 on Dec. 3-4, from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

JPHSDD is opening its Project-Based Voucher (PBV) Waiting List for units in the JLN PBV Properties! This is NOT the regular Section 8 list.

The online pre-application window is only open for one day Monday, November 3, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Apply ONLINE at www.jphsdd.org. Applications will NOT be accepted at the listed properties or the JPHSDD office.

For more details, including the list of the properties, visit jphsdd.org under the "Project-Based Voucher Waiting List Opening" section.

The JPHSDD Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCVP) waitlist opened on Monday, September 22, 2025, at 8:00 AM and closed on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 11:59PM.

During this period, 20,000 applications were submitted. A computerized lottery randomly selected 10,000 applicants for placement on the official waiting list. The first 300 of the lotterized waitlist are in the process of being scheduled for income eligibility appointments. All selected applicants will be contacted with further instructions and next steps.
