We are sad to share that former HPS educator Grace McGinnis (now Grace Shackelford) passed away on August 22.

Mrs. Shackelford began her career in 1968 teaching business classes before earning a master’s degree in counseling. As a counselor at Hastings High, Grace influenced, encouraged, and inspired countless students. She moved to Lincoln in 1980.
