The library is getting into the groove!

Got rhythm? Got records? Got an instrument you've been meaning to dust off? We've got three ways to get your musical fix at Hastings Public Library.

VINYL ON THE TURNTABLE
October 22 at 2 PM & October 27 at 6 PM
Join songwriter and musician Ed Englerth for a little listening, a little Q&A, and a whole lot of good music. Bring your questions, your favorite musical opinions, or just your ears.

ACOUSTIC MUSIC JAM
Fourth Wednesday of the month at 5 PM
Come to listen or play at the library fireplace. Strings, things, and musical beings of all experience levels are welcome. No audition required—unless your instrument insists.

Introduction to Ukulele
Have you always wanted to play an instrument? Try the happy sounds of the ukulele!
The ukulele is one of the happiest instruments to play and it’s easy to learn. This workshop will cover some basic ukulele techniques, a few chords, and ukulele history. Attendees should bring a ukulele if they have one. If not, loaners will be available.

Three events. Plenty of music. Zero need to hit the right note every time.

Come listen, play, discover, and maybe make a little beautiful noise at your library!
