Midland Area Agency on Aging (MAAA) is a Non-Profit agency serving Senior Citizens in Adams, Clay, Hall, Hamilton, Howard, Merrick, Nuckolls, & Webster Counties. We take pride in serving those 60 and older who want to remain comfortable and independent in their own home for as long as they safely can. Enjoy being your own boss? Independent Contractor? We are looking for reliable providers to work with people ages 60 and older in the community. You will not be an employee of Midland Area Agency on Aging. You would be a self-employed independent contractor. Background checks would be completed before we are able to give your contact information to clients. You are treating your customers with respect. You do your job 100% satisfactory. As a Self-Employed Contractor:
• We will not provide work references
• We will not respond to credit checks or provide financial information
• We will not keep income tax records
• We will not provide work verifications
• Income tax is not withheld from your check
• You are not eligible for worker’s compensation insurance
• You are not eligible for unemployment benefits
