Join the enCourage Auxiliary, a dedicated group of community leaders, advocates, and difference-makers who use their time, talents, and networks to strengthen and sustain our mission.

This is more than volunteerism. This is a calling.

What the Auxiliary Does
Auxiliary members make a meaningful commitment in three key ways:
Your Time - Attend and organize events and help lead initiatives Your Talents - Bring your professional skills, creativity, and passion Your Network - Open doors, recruit supporters, and expand our reach.

How You'll Make a Difference
As an Auxiliary member, you'll be an active force for good in our community. Your involvement will include:

● Organizing and supporting fundraising events that generate critical operating revenue
● Leading or participating in community drives (hygiene kits, clothing, household goods, gift cards) that directly benefit survivors
● Engaging your personal and professional networks to grow our donor and volunteer base
● Collaborating with enCourage staff on strategic initiatives and special projects
● Attending regular Auxiliary meetings to share ideas, celebrate wins, and plan what's next

You don't need to be an expert in domestic violence or trauma. You just need a willing heart, a generous spirit, and a desire to do something that truly matters.

THE COMMITMENT
Auxiliary members are asked to attend monthly meetings, participate in at least two events or drives per year, and serve as active ambassadors for enCourage in their circles of influence. This is a meaningful commitment — and a profoundly fulfilling one.

Ready to Join? Here's How.
● Express your interest by contacting us at the information below
● Attend an Auxiliary orientation to learn more about the commitment and community
● Complete your Auxiliary membership form and join the team
● Show up — and start making a difference

enCourage Advocacy Center staff were honored to be able to provide a once-a-month program at The Zone Afterschool Program for the 2025/26 school year. Our final session with the kids was a sticker design contest, and the picture below was chosen as the winning design.
Once school is back in session for the 2026/27 school year, we will be bringing the printed sticker design in for the kids to have and distribute to all their friends.

BREAKING NEWS! The TAKE IT DOWN ACT is now in effect. That means platforms such as websites and apps have 48 hours to remove intimate images shared without your consent after you report them, and they’re required to continually remove duplicates by federal law. The law applies to images and videos, real and fake, including AI-generated or “deepfake” content.

If a platform does not follow the law, you have the right to report them to the FTC, the government agency responsible for enforcing this law, at TAKEITDOWN.ftc.gov.

This is a major win for survivors and one step forward in combatting image-based sexual abuse. If you have struggled in the wake of this abuse, know that you are not alone and you deserve an expedient response when you report harm.

Platforms must do more to not only respond to this abuse, but to prevent these images from being created and spreading, shifting the onus of responsibility from survivors to perpetrators and the tech companies that facilitate this abuse.
