The FBI recently issued a warning about a fraud scheme where scammers are impersonating FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) employees. These scammers are using AI-generated videos, fake websites, and fraudulent claims to get people to take action to send money or share personal information. And they’re specifically targeting people who have been victims of scams in the past. If you or someone you know has fallen victim to this scam, file a complaint at https://www.ic3.gov/. For tips to keep you safe, visit https://www.ic3.gov/PSA/2026/PSA260720.
