The Baker-Fisher Camp 101 Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War invites you to journey with them back in time to learn about our ancestors and how we honor them at a FREE living history event. This Saturday, August 29th from 10am-1pm they will have a civil war encampment set up on our library lawn.
Learn about the life of the common solider, civilian life, and branches of the military. Immerse yourself in Civil War drill demonstrations, camp life, medical practices of the Civil War and so much more!

Join us this Friday at noon for our last Triple L Fridays (Lunch on the Library Lawn) of 2026 with a live performance by Jefferson Berry.

Attention Teens! Tonight at 6pm is a free fun Teen Cosplay event. Come dressed in costume and participate in:
Cosplay Catwalk – Participants walk a "red carpet" and share a few facts about their character.
Costume Crafting Contest – Participants will create a costume on dress forms from patterns and supplies we provide.
Blind Date with a Book (Fandom Edition) – Wrap books with clues like "magic school," "space adventure," or "epic quest."

This year's Fall Book Sale will be Saturday, September 12th from 9am-2pm!
The Fall Book Sale includes local vendors, our bake sale fundraiser, our costume jewelry fundraiser, and refreshments for sale from the Enterprise Fire Company!
Looking for ways to support the library? We're looking for baked good donations for our bake sale fundraiser and gently used jewelry for our jewelry fundraiser.
Vendor applications are also now open. Please note vendors must have a borough vendor license purchased from borough hall. Reservations will not be confirmed without the license.
To sign up to donate baked goods or to complete the vendor application, go to our event registration/sign ups page on our website at https://hatborolibrary.org/event-registration-sign-ups/ or complete the forms at the library.
Jewelry donations can be brought to the circulation desk.
Please note we will never ask you to reach out to anyone on Facebook, the only way to sign up is through the forms on our website.
