This evening, we conducted our monthly training session on s*x crimes, led by Detective Ramey. We prioritize all crimes with gravity; however, these specific cases require meticulous handling and utmost care for the victims and their families. We appreciate Sheriff Whittington for approving Detective Ramey's instruction of this crucial class. Corporal Munds has done an exceptional job of organizing excellent training since assuming this role.

Today, Rob and Dondi delivered food from the Pilot to the police department for our officers. We collaborate effectively with all of our community businesses, and Rob and Dondi wanted to give back and express gratitude. We greatly appreciate the relationships we have with all the people in our community. We love the Pilot pizza too!!

Did anyone else see the helicopter land at the Haughton Fire Department this evening? The Haughton Police Department hosted a landing zone class today, put on by Pafford Air One.

Participants set up a landing zone where Pafford Air One landed, using HPD and HFD emergency vehicles. A detailed tour of the helicopter was provided by its crew, and several questions were answered. Next, everyone relocated to the classroom, where dinner was provided prior to a training class. The best part is, Pafford Air One provided everything free of charge! We are beyond thankful for this learning opportunity and the ability to build relationships with other agencies.

We would like to thank the following participants: Haughton Fire Department, Bossier Parish Fire District #1, and Bossier Parish Communications District/911 System.
