$4 billion for “free” NYC buses and government grocery stores but only $90 million to defend New Yorkers from cyberattacks.

Governor Hochul's budget doesn't lie, Mamdani's socialist agenda comes before your safety.

I asked Governor Hochul’s top cybersecurity official a simple question:

Are illegal migrants more important to Governor Hochul than protecting law-abiding New Yorkers from cyberattacks?

I don’t blame him for not answering.

The $4.3 billion for migrants vs. $90 million for cybersecurity tells you everything you need to know.

Hochul’s priorities are on full display.

Kathy Hochul is spending $4.3 billion on noncitizens’ hotels, healthcare, and lawyers. Yet, only $90 million (1/48th) on New York’s cybersecurity defenses, despite Suffolk and Southold getting hacked.

I asked Governor Hochul’s cyber chief whether those priorities make sense as cyber threats against New York continue to grow.

Members of Congress write the laws that can shape industries, move markets, and impact stock prices.

They should not be trading the very stocks their decisions could influence.

I held myself to that standard, selling all of my stocks before I was sworn in and I’m proud to co-sponsor H.R. 7008 to make it the rule for every Member of Congress.

In a chamber defined by division, this should be unanimous: public service over personal profit.

Great meeting with the National Down Syndrome Society, the Cronin and Hagan families, and Long Island’s own John’s Crazy Socks last week.

Proud to back their advocacy with action by cosponsoring the SSI Savings Penalty Elimination Act to end the outdated $2,000 savings cap for Americans with disabilities and the IDEA Full Funding Act to finally hold Washington accountable for fully funding special education.

Today, for the fourth consecutive year, I was honored to join the Memorial Day ceremony at Calverton National Cemetery to pay tribute to the brave Americans who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

These sacred grounds are the final resting place of more than 275,000 Veterans and their loved ones.

As a Navy Veteran who now serves on the committee that funds the VA and our national cemeteries, I know America would not be the greatest nation the world has ever known were it not for generations of patriots who wore our nation’s uniform, many giving their very lives in defense of our freedom.

We honor their sacrifice by carrying forward their legacy through service to our communities, and love of country.

God bless our fallen heroes, their families, and the United States of America.

American greatness, and the freedom and opportunity we enjoy, would not be possible without the ultimate sacrifice so many brave Americans made for the rest of us.

This Memorial Day, and every day, we honor their courage, remember their sacrifice, and express our deepest gratitude to those who gave everything for our country.

When someone calls my office for help with a federal agency like the IRS, VA, or to get a passport, we don’t ask for your party affiliation or who you voted for in the last election.

My team gets to work helping constituents navigate the labyrinth of the federal bureaucracy and cut through the red tape.

Since taking office, we’ve resolved more than 5,500 constituent cases for Long Islanders.

We’re here to help, regardless of politics.

Long Island deserves Washington’s help to protect our drinking water.

That’s why I secured $1.08 million in federal funding to extend Smithtown water mains to 26 homes whose private wells tested positive for PFAS and 1,4-dioxane above New York’s safety standards.

Clean, safe drinking water for Long Island families must always be a priority.

The cost of housing is simply too high for too many Long Islanders and Americans.

That’s why I was proud to help pass a bipartisan housing bill in the House aimed at lowering costs by streamlining permitting, modernizing outdated housing standards, expanding financing options, and banning large institutional investors from mass-buying single family homes, helping more families achieve the dream of homeownership.
