Congratulations to TRITEC Real Estate Company on the grand opening of Phase 2B of The Core at Station Yards, another major milestone in the transformation of Ronkonkoma into one of Long Island's premier transit-oriented communities. 🚆

Economic Development and Planning Commissioner Sarah Lansdale joined TRITEC Principal James Coughlin and project partners to celebrate the completion of the new residential building, located at the corner of Railroad and Hawkins Avenues adjacent to the Ronkonkoma LIRR station. 🚉

Phase 2B adds 175 new apartment homes, 14,000 square feet of retail space, and a new parking structure to the growing mixed-use development. Residents will enjoy modern amenities including a resort-style pool, rooftop lounge, pickleball and basketball courts, fire pits, barbecue stations, a sauna, chef's kitchen, and more. 🍝

When fully completed, the 53-acre Station Yards development will include approximately 1,450 homes, restaurants, retail and office space, public gathering areas, and a dynamic downtown destination centered around transit access and economic growth.

We look forward to seeing the continued success of this transformative project and welcoming the first residents to their new homes this week. 🏠
