On Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, I want to thank the men and women who serve and protect our communities across western Illinois.

From local police and county sheriffs to state troopers and those serving at the state, federal, and military levels, these professionals put their lives on the line every day to keep our families safe. Their dedication and commitment are the backbone of our rural communities.

I have always been proud to stand with law enforcement, and I am grateful for the support I have received in return. It is an honor to fight for policies that respect their work and keep our communities safe.

Thank you to our law enforcement officers for their service and sacrifice.
