🦅 💙💛 Havelock Elementary Eagles are ready to SOAR!

This morning, these amazing HES students completed their Student Ambassador Training, and they did a phenomenal job!

These student leaders are now ready to welcome new Eagles, help them feel comfortable, make connections, and ensure every student feels like they belong.

We are so proud of their enthusiasm, teamwork, and willingness to make a difference in their school community!

Things are about to get spirited in Downtown New Bern! 👻 Ghost Walk 2026 — Voices of Freedom — runs October 22, 23, and 24, from 6pm to 9:30pm. Three evenings of family-friendly, lantern-lit tours through the streets of historic downtown.

Happy (almost) National Fossil Day! Celebrate at the Aurora Fossil Museum on Saturday, October 24, from 10am to 4pm — in partnership with the National Park Service.

The fun includes Scavenger Hunts, Music in the Park, Games & Prizes, VIP Experience, and more. Come out for some totally fintastic fossil fun for all ages!
