Have you heard about our awesome Aquarium Teen Ambassador Program!?

Through instructor-led group activities and hands-on experiences, participants in this program learn about the diverse marine life along our coast and how to protect species and habitats.

Teen Ambassadors, led by Aquarium staff, meet twice a month for a program that inspires a sense of wonder while building and strengthening relationships with like-minded youth. This program focuses on leadership, public speaking, community service, and presentation skills in a fun and exciting way!

Teens who are interested in joining our ATA program who have not participated in ATA before must attend the introduction meeting on Sept. 12 and RSVP to [email protected] by Sept. 9!

Save the Date for our annual Homeschool Day - Sept. 10!

Our annual Homeschool Day is Thursday, Sept. 10 and registration for special programs opens Sept. 1 ONLINE! www.ncaquariums.com/pks-special-events

Be sure to save the date! During this event, all children in the immediate homeschool family are invited to attend. This includes children who are not school age, and two adults (additional adults will still have to pay general admission). Proof of homeschool status is also required during Homeschool Day.

🌿🐢 Homeschool Day is coming back to Camp Don Lee!

Join us Friday, September 18 from 10 AM–3 PM for a day of hands-on learning, outdoor exploration, and adventure along the Neuse River!

Students will spend the day learning by doing with activities like pond study, river study, fish dissection, fossils, fishing, archery, canoeing, animal encounters, and more!
