🎉 Big news, Haverhill! 🎉

We are absolutely thrilled to celebrate the opening of the brand-new Consentino Middle School at our official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony this Monday! This is a massive milestone for our community, and we can’t wait to share it with you.

⚠️ Important Parking & Shuttle Update:
Parking at both Consentino Middle School and Silver Hill Elementary School will be very limited. Thankfully, our amazing friends at Westgate Market Basket are helping us out! Please utilize their parking lot and take advantage of our free shuttle service:

🚌 Shuttle Schedule:

3:15 PM: Shuttle service begins between Consentino and Westgate Market Basket.

3:30 PM – 5:45 PM: Continuous, round-trip shuttle service runs to and from Westgate Market Basket.

4:00 PM – 7:00 PM: A second shuttle is added! This is a wheelchair-accessible vehicle with excellent air conditioning—highly recommended if you need a ramp or a cooler ride!❄️♿

5:45 PM – 7:00 PM: Shuttles switch to return-only (back to the Market Basket lot). Please note: No new pickups will be made at Westgate Market Basket after 5:45 PM.

🛑 Safety & Assistance:
Crossing guards will be stationed at each school driveway, as well as at Westgate Market Basket, to help group attendees and safely load the buses.

🏛️🌟 Our Hillies are making their voices heard! 🌟🏛️

On Friday, June 5, students from all four Haverhill middle schools and Haverhill High School proudly represented our district at the Statewide Civics Showcase at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate in Boston.

After earning top honors at the Citywide Civics Showcase in May, these students had the opportunity to present their projects to peers from across Massachusetts and receive valuable feedback from community leaders and advisors. Although there were some nerves at the start of the day, our students spoke with confidence, passion, and expertise as they shared their ideas for making a difference in their communities.

As Massachusetts Secretary of Education Stephen Zrike and Department of Youth Services Commissioner Cecely Reardon reminded attendees, students are the changemakers of our society—and our Hillies proved exactly that. 💙💛

We are also incredibly proud of five Haverhill High School juniors who served as student leaders throughout the event. From emceeing the showcase to conducting interviews and assisting participants, they helped make the day a success while showcasing outstanding leadership skills.

This achievement reflects not only the dedication of our students, but also the support of their families, teachers, and staff members across the district who help inspire civic engagement and student success every day.

Congratulations to all who participated! It was a great day to be a Hillie! 🎉👏
