Riverfront Park is looking fantastic! Thank you to Elwood’s Multi-Services for getting the mulch down. It’s the finishing touch that was needed.

Brightside was able to start the weeding/cleanup process and Team Haverhill followed up with helping out with more cleanup!

We are thankful to all! Now, Dave LaBrode is repairing the bench and the area will look great for the Ruckus. 😊🌼🌻🎶🎤🌭🍔

We are looking for daffodil bulbs. We get requests for help at different times from folks around the city. This requests is from a gentleman who volunteers his time to maintain the green space at the Wood School Park.

He'd like to plant some daffodil bulbs around the guard rail area. Having them planted there would certainly add pops of color! He'd like to plant them in October.

Brightside has some bulbs we will donate. But, if we can find folks who could donate more, that would be fantastic!

Looking for someone who can donate his/her time to weed-wack an area, the island at Marsh Ave. & North Ave It's not a large area at all. The person who usually handles it, is dealing with family members illnesses and hasn't been able to do it.

More wonderful beautification projects happening in town. This one was at the Daughters of the Revolution monument in GAR Park.

Thank you to Corinne (DAR) and Meg who planted some coneflowers and hydrangeas along with some Black-eyed Susan seeds. They’ll be returning in the fall to plant some daffodil and tulip bulbs and mums too! Thank you to City of Haverhill Mayor's Office - Official and Haverhill, MA DPW who not only assisted in coordinating this but made sure everything was safe by calling Dig Safe. Haverhill's Brightside is so happy to work with folks like this.

Thank you to Lake Street Garden Ctr & Home Depot for donating the plants, soil & mulch.

And while they were there, they found 2 four-leaf clovers and gave 1 to me. Lucky!!

Volunteers do so much in our city. It truly takes a village! 🌼🌎🍀

We received these “thank you” art sheets from students at the Walnut Square Elementary School thanking us for the trees that were planted there this past Arbor Day.

Didn’t they do a fantastic job on their coloring and their kind words? We love it when kids are involved and see the importance of having trees and green spaces around. Thank you Maro, Jaive, Lyla and William!

Another successful Earth Day city wide cleanup!!! This morning, hundreds of people came out to join in the clean up of different locations around town. It was awesome to see so many people!

Thank you to City of Haverhill Mayor's Office - Official/Mayor Barrett leading by example. Thank you Councilor Thomas Sullivan, Melissa Lewandowski Haverhill City Councilor and Councilor Tim Jordan and the groups with them for making sure Winnekenni and Portland St playground are looking all set for Spring!
