Here's something a little different than the items we typically post on FB, but we like to highlight our faculty achievements as much as our students'. Our Academic Director, Ms. Hannah Herklotz, collaborated with a classmate in her doctoral program to write a paper, using data from HVM, to show how use of Montessori direct literacy instruction supports literacy growth in our students. The paper was recently selected for publication by the American Montessori Society (AMS).

Today, our 3rd year students in the Walnut classroom presented their Massachusetts Project, an annual event for 3rd years in this classroom. Many thanks to Ms. Nancy for spearheading this wonderful project each year, to Ms. Shaela and Ms. Diana for all of their support, and to our families who came to watch their students S H I N E 🌠

We have a new favorite tradition at Hill View Montessori! Our first-ever Graduation Clap Out of our High School Class of 2026 was a joy-filled success! Many thanks to all of our alumni who came back to visit us and to inspire our current students with your accomlishments. We ❤️ you!

On Friday, our Lower Elementary students visited the Portsmouth Theater to see PoutPout Fish! Prior to the trip, the read PoutPout books, made puppets, and practiced the Grace & Courtesy of theater etiquette.

They’re baaaaaack! They’re exhausted but they had a great time. AND, they got tons of compliments from Camp Staff about their behavior, friendliness, inclusivity, manners, bravery, and general awesomeness. We are so proud 👍👏❤️

Hill View Montessori is going to have a booth at the Haverhill Art Walk on Saturday, June 6th, from 2-6PM! We are doing a fun craft and handing out information about our amazing school. Come, join us, hang out, and enjoy the Haverhill Art Walk!
