Oakmont Fire Company

This weekend members from Haverford Township Bureau of Fire joined up with Philly Tin Helmet Training, LLC to expand the knowledge of engine and ladder work. Even with this nor’easter training never stops thank you again for the training.

Two full days of rain but we still got it in, in Havertown! Huge thank you to Oakmont FD for hosting us for 2 days of Engine and Ladders. We had a great time and appreciate all of you who came out, put out, despite the weather, and trained. Stay safe, and we will see you all again, soon!

Today we take the day to pause and reflect on the 25th anniversary of September 11th 2001. We remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the courage of the first responders and ordinary people who stepped forward to face the unimaginable tragedy. May we never forget the lives, the sacrifices, and the unity that followed.

Tonight at 630 pm Oakmont Fire Company will honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice on this date 25 years ago. All are welcome to attend.
