Thanksgiving Morning Traditional Neighborhood Football Game Some say it's a good way to spend Thanksgiving morning.

Others say it's the only way. Yes the BROOKLINE BOWL is set for it's 110th annual contest with the Kenmore Road team looking for an answer against the Sagamore Road dynasty. If you are hearing this message, you are invited and encouraged to bang your spikes out and attend this long-time classic neighborhood feud. Pre-game is 9am, kickoff at 9:30, Advil and limping at 11:00.

Yes, it's been Football season for some time now, leaves are falling, it's dark at like 2:30pm...must be time for the Annual Brookline Bowl Epic! By now you know it's Thanksgiving morning at Brookline School in Havertown, 9am kids game, 9:30am for us Geritol junkies. All are welcome. You can't get any more Havertownererer than this!

Residents of the Penfield / Brookline section of Havertown, Pennsylvania point toward The Brookline Bowl as an Epic as storied as the neighborhood itself. We have seen great players come and go, bad players come and stay. We've seen monsoon rains, frigid frozen tundra, snow and bright beautiful sunshine. You can always count on good laughs and an alarmingly strong Bloody Mary.

Kids game starts at 9am along with adult pregame, Kickoff at 9:30am with two - 25 minute running egg timer halves. Kids finish their game during half time.

Be Thankful we live in a Great Land where we can bang out our spikes, get together with our neighbors and....well, be Thankful! See you there good people!

Thanksgiving 2016 -- this is the year you bang out the spikes, do some arm circles and neck rolls and get yourself to the annual Brookline Bowl Epic. Pre-Game is 9am (kids game starts) with a 9:30am kickoff. It's time you graced Brookline field with your presence...you won't regret it. This is a fierce neighborhood rivalry (kinda) and all are welcome!
