Training Drill: Drafting Operations

This evening, our members participated in a drill focused on drafting operations—the process of using fire apparatus to draw water from static water sources, such as ponds and streams, for firefighting operations.

The drill brought together partner fire companies to work collaboratively, strengthen our drafting skills, and improve our ability to establish a reliable water supply when hydrants are not available.

Training together builds stronger partnerships, sharper skills, and a more effective response when our community needs us most. 💪🚒

Today the campers had lessons on:
Bullying from Harford County Office of Drug Control Policy

Mason Dixon search dogs demonstrated how their search dogs find missing people.

Wildlife Adventures taught a safety lesson on wild animals. They brought their favorite friends for the campers to hold and pet.

Another delicious lunch by the Level Ladies Auxiliary.

Thank you to all the volunteers who made this another successful camp for all the children.
