The Susquehanna Workforce Network creates solutions to address our region's most pressing challenges - jobs and the economy. From September of 1983, when we hired our first staff of four, to today, with 25 employees, SWN has dedicated all our resources to bettering the quality of life for local companies, workers, and job seekers. Forty years after b
eing founded, we continue to ADVANCE and expand our events, training programs, and partnerships. The result is having practical tools for addressing our region's pressing economic challenges. As we INNOVATE and keep our focus on growing the region's workforce competitively, we advance the future of those who visit our Workforce Centers—their families and local businesses. We thank you for your continued confidence in us and look forward to providing you with our services in the next forty (plus) years. SWN is a non-profit organization coordinating workforce development programs and services for businesses and individuals in Cecil and Harford Counties. We seek to identify jobseeker and business needs to develop solutions that maximize regional economic success. We represent an affiliation of over 50 local businesses, organizations, and agencies that work collaboratively to execute a system of education, training, employment, and outreach programs or services that are responsive to local economic challenges and designed to meet the needs of businesses, workers, and youth.
