She is owned and operated by Chesapeake Heritage Conservancy in Havre de Grace, MD and is currently undergoing a major restoration in Hutchins Park. Skipjack Martha Lewis was built in 1955 in Wingate, MD by Bronza Parks along with 2 other Skipjacks Rosie Parks and Lady Katie - they are known as the Three Sisters. Whether aboard the Martha Lewis for a public sail or for a school field trip - this

majestic vessel will transport you to a time when thousands of these vessels sailed the Chesapeake Bay

Many thanks to the volunteers who came out this morning to help with a shake down cruise. Unfortunately, Martha was unable to leave the dock due to some technical issues with the push boat. Captain Rusty and restoration coordinator Dennis Taylor are working to resolve the problems… stay tuned!
