Pool Update: 8/21/26

2:30pm: update unfortunately we will not be able to open up today. The pool is still cloudy and will need to be shocked one more time for our opening tomorrow at noon.

10:30 am: Unfortunately, the pool will not be able to open at noon today. It’s still extremely cloudy from the major shock that we had to give it. It looks great just not clear yet. We are continuing to vacuum the pool to help speed the process back to the necessary clarity of the water. We will be reassessing at 2:30 to determine if we can open at 4:00. An email and Facebook post will be sent out no later than 3:00. Again thank you for your patience.

Pool Update: Parts have just arrived this morning and repair work has begun. Unfortunately, the pool will be closed again today. We will have an update tomorrow no later than 10am after we make sure everything is back up and running properly along with how the shocking of the pool goes to rid it of the algae growth.

Hello Everyone-

The board wanted to give you an update on the pool and when it will reopen. Our hope is to have the pool reopen at some point on Thursday. Please know that we understand not having the pool open is very frustrating for all of us and we are doing everything we can to get the pool up and running again as fast we can.

As things stand now, as you know, the pool pump failed on Friday. After opening the pump several failures were located. Three parts were needed to repair the pump. Unfortunately, one of the parts wasn’t in stock in Baltimore and had to be shipped from Connecticut on Monday. Because of supply chain issues we are expecting it to be delivered at some point today, Wednesday. Once the part is installed and the pump is back up and running, we will have our guards loosen the algae that has grown and shock the pool.
Again, we appreciate your patience and understanding.

Pump the breaks on your pool plans for the weekend! We will be closed Saturday and Sunday!

We had unexpected pump repairs that will take us into the weekend! We are working hard to get it fixed asap! We will update as soon as we can!
