the world. They believe they can and should address the needs of others. ✨ FIND YOUR LIGHT CAMPAIGN ✨

This spotlight shines on Austin Papka of JCI Richland County, nominated by Shaylyne Fisher! 💙

Austin has been a Jaycee for just one year, but in that short time he has already made a tremendous impact on both the chapter and the community. Serving as the JCI Richland County Vice President, Austin has embraced every opportunity to get involved and help move the chapter forward.

From community events to chapter projects, Austin has stepped up to help with virtually everything we do. He is a strong advocate for bringing new events and opportunities to Richland County and has been especially passionate about ensuring our Flag Posting Program continues to thrive.

Austin was nominated because when someone asks, "Who can help?" or "Who can be there?" his name is almost always one of the first that comes to mind. In his first year as a Jaycee, he has gone above and beyond—not only as a member, but also as a board member and leader. Whether it's running a meeting when needed, co-chairing some of our biggest events, or volunteering wherever help is needed, Austin never hesitates to step up.

His dedication, reliability, and passion for giving back to the community have made him an invaluable part of JCI Richland County. We are incredibly grateful for the energy and leadership he brings to our chapter.

Thank you, Austin, for sharing your light and for always being willing to serve your community! 🌟

✨ FIND YOUR LIGHT CAMPAIGN ✨

This spotlight shines on Sonya McMahan of the Hi-Line Jaycees, nominated by her fellow Hi-Line Jaycees! 💙

Sonya serves as the Hi-Line Jaycees Community Development Vice President and is the definition of someone who is always willing to jump in and help. Whether it's a chapter event, community project, or supporting another chapter, Sonya is often one of the first people to raise her hand and ask, "What can I do?"

When asked what events she enjoys, the answer is simple—everything! Her enthusiasm for service and involvement has led her to not only support her home chapter but also begin traveling to assist other chapters with their events.

Sonya was nominated because of the incredible growth she has shown as a Jaycee. Over the past year, she attended her first state convention, her first national convention, and has started traveling to support chapters like Miles City, all while not serving on the state board. Watching her embrace new opportunities, build connections, and expand her impact has been inspiring.

Her willingness to help, positive attitude, and dedication to serving others continue to make her an integral part of the Hi-Line Jaycees and the Jaycee movement as a whole.

Thank you, Sonya, for sharing your light and for always being willing to lend a hand wherever it's needed! 🌟

✨ FIND YOUR LIGHT CAMPAIGN ✨

This spotlight shines on Jeff Snyder of the JCI Miles City Jaycees, nominated by Kristy Cullinan! 💙

Jeff has been a dedicated Jaycee member for 2 years and currently serves as the chapter’s Membership Vice President. While many of his contributions happen behind the scenes, his hard work and willingness to step up make a huge difference for both the chapter and the community.

Some of the events Jeff enjoys and has helped with include Haunted Trails, the Children’s Christmas Store, Wreaths Across America, and the Miles City Bucking Horse Sale.

Jeff was nominated because he consistently works hard to help ensure the success of both the members and the chapter. During the Miles City Bucking Horse Sale in May, Jeff stepped up in a big way by helping cover multiple volunteer shifts to support chapter fundraising efforts. Those efforts help keep the chapter operating and allow the Jaycees to continue bringing annual events and opportunities to the community.

Thank you, Jeff, for being a dependable leader and for helping keep the light shining in Miles City! 🌟

✨💡 Find Your Light Campaign – Member Spotlight 💡✨

Say hello to Veronnika “Ronni” Hardin, a newer Jaycee who has already jumped in with both feet! Ronni serves as JCI Miles City Secretary and JCI Montana Chaplain, proving that big growth can happen in a short amount of time.

🏠 Home Chapter: JCI Miles City
⏳ Time as a Jaycee: 1 year

🎉 Events She Loves Being Part Of:
Ronni especially enjoys helping with the Miles City Bucking Horse Parade and the chapter’s Murder Mystery Party. Both events bring people together in fun and meaningful ways, and she loves being part of the teamwork that makes them happen.

🌟 Why She Nominated Herself:
Ronni wanted to share her story to show that when you step forward and give something your all, opportunities can follow. In less than a year as a Jaycee, she took on leadership roles at both the local and state level—something she’s incredibly proud of.

🧡 What Jaycees Means to Her:
“This organization has given me chances I never expected in such a short time. I’m grateful for the support, the growth, and the people I’ve met along the way. I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me next.”

✨ Ronni is a great example of finding your light by saying yes to new challenges and believing in what’s possible.

💡✨ Find Your Light Campaign Spotlight ✨💡
Meet Samm Nimmick, a first-year Jaycee already making a powerful impact as President of JCI Hi-Line Jaycees and Secretary/Treasurer for JCI Montana. Samm leads with intention, heart, and a deep belief in people.
🏠 Home Chapter: JCI Hi-Line Jaycees
⏳ Years as a Jaycee: 1
🤝 What Makes Every Event a Favorite:
Rather than one standout event, Samm finds meaning in who shows up and how they grow. From watching members discover confidence behind the scenes at booths and displays, to seeing others step into leadership roles that benefit local nonprofits and community traditions, the true highlight is witnessing people stretch beyond their comfort zones. Even Junior Jaycees stepping up with creativity and leadership leave a lasting impression. Those moments—paired with positive feedback from community members—are what make the work feel worthwhile.
🌟 A Defining Jaycee Moment:
Samm’s favorite memory comes from attending the 2024 Election Convention in Billings—before officially becoming a Jaycee. What started with hesitation quickly turned into a sense of belonging, thanks to the warm welcome and meaningful connections formed that weekend. Seeing the respect and care shared within the organization, especially during the recognition of a Senatorship, made clear what Jaycees truly represents.
🏡 Favorite Way to Spend Time:
Free time looks a little different for Samm. The moments that matter most are spent with loved ones—movie nights, board games, cheering at events, attending concerts, reading together, and embracing the beautiful chaos of family life.
🧡 Why Samm Jaycees:
“I want to help build people and belonging. Every voice matters, especially those still finding their confidence. Through Jaycees, I strive to create spaces where individuals feel supported, valued, and proud of who they are becoming. This organization once showed me I had a place—and now I hope to help do the same for others.”
✨ Samm continues to shine a light by leading with values, connection, and care for the people around them.
