The State-Issued Burn Ban has now been lifted for all NC Counties. If you plan to burn outdoors, please do so safely and responsibly.

Safety Reminders:
• Never leave a fire unattended
• Keep water, a hose, or a shovel nearby
• Avoid burning on windy days
• Clear all dry grass and debris around the burn area
• Fully extinguish fires before leaving the area

Even though the ban has been lifted, it only takes one spark to start a wildfire. Help keep our community and first responders safe by practicing smart burning habits.

Please remember to always CALL 911 in the case of an EMERGENCY!

Congratulations Chief Phillips! We’re excited to work alongside you!
