Hawarden Fire Dept was called to large field fire today, with assistance from Hawarden EMS, Ireton Fire, Alcester fire and EMS, Akron Fire, Sioux Center Fire, Rick Valley Fire, Fairview Fire, Canton Fire, Beresford Fire, Hudson Fire and Sioux County Conservation it was extinguished in about 4 hours. Thank you to all departments for all of your help!! Thank you to all the farmers who brought in tractors, discs and water tanks! Thank you to all of the people who brought bottled water and to Bomgaars for donating water to all first responders. And thank you to Pizza Ranch for supplying Pizzas for supper! Great teamwork! A burned, little bunny was also saved today ❤️
