📢 Important Notice Regarding ACH Payments 📢

Beginning July 1, 2026, all ACH payments made through our online payment system will include a $1.50 convenience fee.

Please note: the City does NOT receive this $1.50 fee. This fee is being charged directly by the payment processing company, which has recently implemented this charge.

If you currently have automatic ACH payments set up and wish to cancel them, you will need to log into your online account and make those changes there. Customers can access their account by visiting http://hawesville.us/

As always, we still accept:
✔️ Cash payments at City Hall
✔️ Check payments at City Hall
✔️ Payments placed in the drop box located on the side of the building

If you have trouble accessing your online account or need assistance, please contact our office at 270-927-8707.

Main Street is re-opened for traffic.

Reminder: If you see barricades or a posted closure, they are in place for your safety and the safety of work crews. Please do not attempt to drive around them or enter closed areas. When work is underway, we strongly encourage everyone to plan ahead and use alternate routes whenever possible. Your cooperation helps ensure the job can be completed safely and efficiently. Start Time: 8:00am

All customers in the downtown area and extending out to the Career Center on HWY 60 may experience little to no water pressure while our crews perform a water line repair.
