Just a gentle reminder, Goshen County remains under a Stage 1 Fire Ban, and the Restrictions/Exemptions can be found on the Goshen County webpage. In preparation for the July 4th holiday, the County will be keeping the Fire Ban in place for now. This only applies to lands outside the towns and cities' limits; those limitations will be decided by each locality. BLM and State lands are also under a fire ban, and information on their exemptions/restrictions can be found on their websites. The County will be monitoring the drought and moisture profiles, and if the ban can be lifted, a recommendation will be made to the Commissioners to lift the ban. We appreciate our community working with us to keep everyone safe.

Good Morning! We have some events coming up that are begging to be added to your calendar! It might seem like they're a long way away, but just like your car mirrors, objects are closer than they appear!

Come join us in March for a community education day. Living in a rural community means that sometimes help can take a while to reach you -- we will be going over signs and symptoms of things that require calling 911 and what you can do to help while you wait. We will also provide a CPR class that you can take if you just want to know how to do it, or for a fee, we can go ahead and get you certified. If you are looking to certify, please RSVP.

ALSO, if you are a first responder in need of continuing education hours, these classes will count for that.

Also, coming up is the annual Easter Egg hunt! A family favorite, and *spoiler alert* we really love putting this on and getting to see everyone that comes to hang out!
