Hawkinsville, there are 41 veteran families and counting not including the community that has now lost everything they have. VFW Post 6077 is asking for your support in this time of crisis. So that we can do our job in helping our veterans and our communities we need slightly worn clothes, shoes, water, and non-perishable food. Help us load the truck! Donations can be made at the VFW (255 Lower River RD). We will be collecting donations until May 5th. Our trucks will be taking your contributions to those in need on May 9th and 10th. We will try to have someone there every day for a few hours to take donations. If Noone is there, donations can be left by the front doors facing the lake or I side the grill area. Please leave your donations in an orderly manner. Thank you in advance for your help!
