The Haworth Police Department will be putting down their razors and joining in the fight against cancer this year for a hometown boy who is just 2 years old. Daniel is currently battling high-risk neuroblastoma. Daniel’s strength, spirit and smile inspire us all! All funds raised will go directly to Daniel and his family to assist them while they focus on the care of Daniel! Please consider donating by scanning the Haworth PD QR code attached and label it with “Daniel Strong”. No amount is too small and we thank you in advance for your generosity! Also attached in our bio is the gofundme for Daniel and his family as well! Please keep the Drobenko family in your thoughts and prays as they navigate this extremely difficult time in their lives. 🙏

Today, the 6th grade class got a special visit from some of our friends on the K-9 Unit from the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department! Sgt. Spina and Officer Cutrona came with their four legged friends, K9 Gucci a belgian malinois and K9 Jett a long haired shepherd . K-9 Gucci demonstrated his bite and hold technique during an apprehension demo where he is trained to bite and hold onto a suspect and will not release until told to do so by his handler. After that K-9 Jett was more than happy to get pet and socialize with the kids! The Haworth Police Department extends our thanks to the BCSD K-9 handlers and their pups for making a visit!
