Established in 1916, we are a small, rural community in western Pennsylvania. Our location, south of I-80 in Clarion County, between New Bethlehem and Brookville, allows our Town to evoke a quiet and comfortable charm and a rural quality of life while still being able to access quality entertainment, business, and industry. Our beautiful and scenic natural resources boast plenty of recreational ac

tivities while still maintaining respite from life’s pressures and a place to seek solitude. The Redbank Valley Trails and waterways were once home to railroads/industrial mills, but now provide a place for year round recreational activities…including fishing, hunting, boating, camping, biking, hiking, and much more! Our community is tied together through traditional family values and a sincere sense of community. Our municipality is proud of its citizens and the way they demonstrate their willingness to invest in the future of their community.

Hawthorn Fire Co. Community Days 2025 was a massive success — and it’s all thanks to YOU! 🙌🚒

🍗 To those who waited patiently for the Chicken BBQ — THANK YOU! Other than the chicken line, everything ran like a dream, and your support made it all worthwhile.

🚨 Thanks to those who joined in our Lights & Siren Parade and filled Main Street with spirit and smiles!

🎆 Hats off to our fireworks crew for lighting up the night sky and giving us the perfect ending to a wonderful celebration.

👏 To all the families, neighbors, and visitors who came out in waves to support us — we truly can’t thank you enough. Your presence means the world to our fire company and our community. 💙

💪 A final and very special thank you to our members — the heart of House 560. You spent all week cleaning trucks, prepping the hall, setting up equipment, and pulling off a 17-hour day without missing a beat. Your dedication is what made this event so incredible. We’re proud of each and every one of you!
