Celebrating 10 years of impact, inclusion, and community ✨🦋

We were honored to join Volunteer New York in celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the RISE program, a powerful initiative creating meaningful volunteer opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities throughout Westchester County. 💛

At The Arc Westchester, we know the value of connection, purpose, and belonging, and RISE continues to embody all of that and more. It was inspiring to celebrate alongside fellow nonprofit partners, volunteers, families, and community leaders who are helping build a more inclusive community for all.

A special thank you to Volunteer New York! for their continued partnership and commitment to empowering people through service and inclusion. Congratulations on a decade of incredible impact, we look forward to seeing all that’s ahead! 🤝

We were honored to welcome several leaders from NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital for a meaningful visit to The Arc Westchester. 💙

Through their continued partnership and support — especially with Project SEARCH at the NYP Westchester Behavioral Health’s Center for Autism and the Developing Brain, our Parenting Grocery Program, and community events — NYP continues to make a lasting impact on the people and families we serve.

Visits like these are an important reminder of the power of community partnerships and what can be accomplished when organizations come together with a shared commitment to inclusion, opportunity, and support.

Thank you, NewYork-Presbyterian, for taking the time to connect with our mission and see firsthand the impact of your support. ✨

Wishing a peaceful and meaningful Shavuot 💙

Shavuot is a time to reflect on learning, tradition, and community. It reminds us of the importance of knowledge, connection, and sharing with others.

At The Arc Westchester, we celebrate the values of inclusion and learning in all forms, and we honor the many traditions that bring people together.

Accessibility matters 💙

On Global Accessibility Awareness Day, we highlight the importance of creating spaces, both physical and digital, that are accessible to people of all abilities.

True inclusion means ensuring everyone can access, engage, and participate fully in their communities and beyond.

Let’s continue working toward a more accessible world for all.
